Thank you

My name is Venkatesh and I am the Elder of  Four children. My parents taught us growing up that God and family are there for you when no one else is. As a result of our upbringing, we are a very close knit family. My family has stood by my side through the good times and the bad, as I have been there for them. Without their support I am not sure I would be where I am today. My family is comprised of not only my parents, and sisters, but also my true and loyal Wife.
Family
F- Fiercely loyal to those we love.
A- Accepting each for whom
         and what They are.
M- matchless in our hopes and dreams
         For one another.
I- Instilling pride in our hard fought
           Heritage.
L- Learning about our past guides
          us in The future.
Y- You love and cherish the people of
           Your heart.
Saying thank you can be a difficult thing to do. Doing so means admitting that you are in another's debt. I am admitting that another individual did something for me. I am not all powerful; I need the help of others to survive. The reality is that the human race is interdependent. We cannot live life alone. We are constantly relying on each other for all kinds of resources, both physical and emotional. When I say thank you I am acknowledging that I have received something from another human being.

The role of a wife has changed significantly during the last hundred years. Woman now have more freedom than ever before to choose their role in life and marriage. Many woman may decide to invest heavily in a career and push off childbearing until a later age. Other woman decide that they want to be a wife in the traditional sense. Husbands and wives can make all kinds of arrangements that are perfectly workable between each other. It is important that both parties are aware of the expectations that the other are bringing into the marriage so that there isn't friction later on.

I dedicate this poem to my wife
That Someone Special

She is the apple of my eye,
The reason that I live.
She is all that I could wish for.
My heart to her I give.

It is for that someone special,
These words that I do pen,
To thank her for always being,
My wife and my best friend.

She has the will to live until,
The last breath she does take,
There is the love within her heart,
Such good memories to make.

She is the sunshine in my morning,
The star that's in my sky,
And if I should ever lose her,
Then I would surely die.

She stands always at my side,
No matter what comes our way.
She comforts me with steadfast love,
Each and every day.
She carries many burdens,
And her heart is sometimes broken,
By all the thanks she never gets,
And all the words unspoken.

I know her life is not her own,
I always seem so needy,
And asking her to do one more thing,
I feel so really greedy.

How can I ever thank her,
For all she has done for me?
I can only give her all my heart,
And love her to eternity.

She is One I should treasure,
But not as a possession,
Who needs to be loved,
Not treated with aggression.

Her value is more than
All the world's treasures,
Not just the sum of
Scale’s unit measures.

She should always be built up,
Not torn down,
By all the words I speak,
When she is around.

She needs to be hugged
And not pushed away,
Especially when We both

Having a really bad day.

Words spoken to her
In haste and anger
Can place her fragile
Heart in danger

She should be admired
For her boundless love
And looked upon as
A true gift from Above.

Not used as a target
For all My frustration
But held close and kissed
With loving admiration.

I should always appreciate
her commitment to me
And not take for granted what
she's given up for me!

Kiss her and love her
all that I possibly can
And don't be embarrassed
To be seen holding her hand.

Treasure each day
as If it were the last,

I hope that when the end comes,
And she meets God face to face,
He will tell her that in Heaven,
She has a special place.

Truth

A world where truth does not shine is a world filled with fog and cobwebs, a gray miasma through which we run blind and lost and terrified, tripping over roots we do not see, dodging the threat of looming shapes, separated from our fellows in the dripping, fear-filled darkness. . .The world of truth is the world of what is. It is here. It is now. It is what is.

Treatment for Alcohol Abuse

Alcohol treatment programs are available for easy access to those who wish to withdraw from alcohol voluntarily or involuntarily. There might be many withdrawal symptoms that are associated with these alcohol treatment programs the most common being anxiety and restlessness.

A complete understanding of the various available alcohol treatment options is a must before you start a treatment plan. An alcohol treatment plan aims at elimination of an individual’s addiction to alcohol. It also focuses on getting rid of the urge to consume alcohol even after the program term.

A typical alcohol treatment plan always starts with a detoxification or cleansing process where the body is removed of toxins that are created by excessive consumption of alcohol. The process of detoxification id brought in by a strict withdrawal from alcohol from a period of 3-4 days. This level though is a difficult one for many individuals, is an important phase of the alcohol treatment program.

The detoxification part of the alcohol treatment often drains the body of the patient and is hence followed by a physical and relaxation therapy to bring in the balance. This is followed by a series of social therapy where the patient is enrolled in group session and counseling discussions so as to create a confidence level on resisting the urge towards alcohol.

All the alcohol treatment therapy sessions starting from the detoxification process normally last for about 90 days on an average though they depend on the level of addiction. The patient is also most of the times required to visit the center for follow-up checkups on a regular basis.
You can search online for an alcohol treatment center that is nearer to your location or can consult your health physician who can refer you to the right one.

About Treatment Center

Addiction to alcohol is a distress both to the individual and the people around him. There is many government and private organizations have taken to concern to tackle this situation with the creation of specialized Alcohol Treatment Centers all over the world. To understand better, let us take a look at the basics of an alcohol treatment center.

An Alcohol Treatment Center is a specialized center for the therapeutic treatment of individuals who are addicted to alcohol. These kind of centers ensure that the addicted individuals are treated therapeutically and emotionally so as to resist the urge towards alcohol. An alcohol treatment center can be either a completely residential or can also be a center that treats patients based on individual visits. Some alcohol treatment centers also follow a combined treatment method.

Patients are treated in alcohol treatment center based on their degree of addiction and the co-operation that is extended from the patients. The alcohol treatment center initially starts with a detoxification treatment which eventually leads to an intervention and a behavioral pattern treatment. The patients are studied well and the course of treatment that well suits their health is incorporated. The patients are also introduced at times to alternative kind of therapies in alcohol treatment centers which may include sleep therapy, sound therapy and talk therapy as other treatment modes.

Most of the times yoga, meditation or counseling are also used a key elements in alcohol treatment centers for the purpose of treatment. These treatment methods target to improve the mental stability and self control of an individual so as to resist the alcohol urge after the treatment. An alcohol treatment center can also involve an individual in a group therapy depending on the co-operation level of an individual. This helps the patients to know each other and to share common problems thereby creating a bond.
For many suffering from drug or alcohol abuse, entering a treatment center may be their only hope for recovery. Although feelings of despair, shame, and isolation may arise, substance abusers should know that they are not alone. Millions of people have fallen victim to substance abuse, and even through feelings of helplessness, anger, and regret, they still find the strength to seek help through a treatment center or program.
Choosing sobriety can be a debilitating struggle for many substance abusers. Many addicts hear of treatment center horror stories in which users experience terrible withdrawals, or are forced to deal with the problems their abuse may have caused. Others are unable to handle the pressure of their family and friends advising them to enter a treatment center as their addiction.
However, entering a treatment center for substance abuse isn’t scary. There are a wide variety of treatment centers and programs available to help addicts overcome their abuse and to do so while meeting their personal needs. An inpatient treatment center helps those whose abuse has become debilitating or life-threatening while outpatient treatment programs are available for those with limiting obligations such as family or work.
Popular treatment centers and programs include detoxification programs, inpatient treatments, faith-based treatments, holistic treatments, and outpatient treatments such as 12 Step programs and 12 Step Alternative programs. There are even treatment centers and programs for young adults and teenagers such as schools and wilderness camps, as well as relapse centers for those who were unable to maintain sobriety.
Each treatment center is structured differently involving varying therapies and levels of time commitment. To ensure an addict receives the best treatment available to them, they should research the different options available, determine their own needs, and consider contacting a professional for a recommendation or referral.
A treatment center understands how hard overcoming addiction is, and strives to make each addict’s recovery as personal and successful as possible. They incorporate a unique series of individual and group therapy sessions, educational classes, and self-fulfillment lessons designed to help an addict create a life of fulfillment without the need of drugs or alcohol.
No addict wants to remain a slave to drugs or alcohol forever. Participating in a treatment center or program can help a substance abuser start a new by helping them overcome their addiction, and will provide a network of support and guidance to ensure their new found sobriety is lasting.

Fellowship

Fellowship
The AA member is but a small part of a great whole; no personal sacrifice is too great for the preservation of the Fellowship. He learns that the clamor of desires and ambitions within him must be silenced whenever these could damage the group. It becomes plain that the group must survive or the individual will not.

Any Format

In Any Format.
I work a long-commute, swing-shift job. This doesn't provide me with as many meetings as I want (and sometimes need), but God has given me what I need -- other AA members on the Internet. Through online meetings, I've met and talked with some fantastic people. They've been there when I needed them, and I hope I've done the same for them.

Modem-to-modem or face-to-face, AA's speak the language of the heart.
